What Is The Tx360® Nasal Applicator?

The Tx360® Nasal Applicator is a new medical device that is somewhat similar to your basic syringe. The Tx360® is specially designed to administer small amounts of fluids to various areas of the nasal pathway, acting as a SPG Block.

The fluid blocks the Sphenopalatine ganglion (SPG) which is linked to the trigeminal nerve. The trigeminal nerve is the primary nerve involved in chronic headache disorders.

How the Procedure Works

With a less invasive process than traditional nasal irrigation methods, the Tx360® is a non-surgical procedure that does not require any x-ray guidance or contrast to expertly maneuver around the delicate curvature of the inner nasal pathway.

This unique applicator is incredibly safe and easy for trained otolaryngologists to use. Only mild potential complications are associated with this procedure, such as irritation or spotted bleeding within the nasal passage, so patients are not facing any of the dangerous possibilities that can result from a nasal surgery.

Migraine Relief with The Tx360®

Irrigating different sections of the nasal pathway like the inferior turbinate, superior turbinate, and sphenopalatine foramen will help to break up intact nasal mucosa. This mucosa can often be a significant contributor to chronic migraines.

One particular patient was finally able to achieve long-lasting relief from her chronic migraines with treatments using the Tx360®. Multiple treatments were needed before the patient’s ENT specialist was able to break her headache cycle, but after just a few weeks the patient was able to enjoy regular activities without fearing a sudden, debilitating migraine at any moment.
