Steven M. Lemons, M.D.

Board Certified Interventional Radiologist in Kansas City, KS

Dr. Steven Lemons is a radiologist with Interventional Radiology at The University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Lemons grew up in Leawood, Kansas and attended high school in Overland Park, Kansas. Dr. Lemons received his medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed radiology residency and was Chief Resident at The University of Kansas Medical Center and also completed his interventional radiology fellowship there. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology, Vascular and Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.  Dr. Lemons is an active member of both the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Radiologic Society of North America.

In addition to the treatment of uterine fibroids, Dr. Lemons specializes in treatment of a variety of complex disease processes including liver cancer, portal hypertension, biliary pathologies, kidney cancer and vascular abnormalities.

In his free time, Dr. Lemons enjoys spending time with his family and three children. He also enjoys attending various sporting events.  Although, he was raised a Nebraska Husker fan by his parents who are alumni of The University of Nebraska, he has more recently shifted to cheering on The University of Kansas Jayhawk basketball team.
